Description

The Vault Protech, set up for hardcore racing.

The front-entry Vault is built for sit-down riders after top performance; the Side Entry is built for racers. The buckles run down your side, not the middle of your chest, so the front is one smooth panel that hugs your body and leaves your shoulders and core room to move when you're reaching for the bars. The patented Pro-Tech back protector deflects and absorbs impact, and comes out when you're not racing.

Approved to Australian Standard AS 4758 Level 50S.

Built for: stand-up and sit-down racing, and enduros.
Best for: racers who want maximum mobility.

Side entry: three buckles, one smooth front panel
Pro-Tech back protector: three layers, CE Level 2, removable
Race standards: IJSBA, UIM Aqua Bike and Jet Cross
Lanyard clip: for your kill-switch lanyard
40 years of know-how: Jetpilot has built gear for riders since 1986

The Fit

Flexible Fit

Three buckles down the side do the vest up and let you adjust it across your body. There's no front zip, so the front stays one smooth panel. Try it on with the back protector in.

Tight Fit = Safe Fit

Snug it up so it can't shift. A loose vest can ride up or slip off when you hit the water.

Find your size

Measure around the fullest part of your chest, under your arms, then check your weight:

S/M: 81–101 cm chest, 60–70 kg
L/XL: 107–127 cm chest, 70 kg+
2XL: 132–152 cm chest, 70 kg+

Between sizes? Try both on over whatever you race in. Clip all three buckles and get a mate to lift it at the shoulders: it shouldn't ride up past your chin or ears.
